Tom is the founder and senior partner of Devaney & Associates. He has over twenty-eight years of public and private accounting experience. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and California and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
Tom’s experience includes eight years as the Tax Partner with a Middle Market Certified Public Accounting firm in Southern California. Fifteen years as the founder and principal of a Certified Public Accounting firm in Atlanta, Georgia. And five years of accounting experience, as the Controller and Cost Accountant, within the construction industry.
Tom’s client base has included individual tax and financial planning clients as well as both publicly traded and privately held companies; ranging in size from small family-owned businesses to corporations with revenues in excess of $100 million annually. He is experience in a wide variety of industries, including technology, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail, real estate, restaurants, mortgage lending, and specialized services.
Tom’s business consulting experience is extensive and includes providing clients with professional services in the areas of auditing, financial accounting & reporting, including the design and implementation of accounting systems, cost accounting, and budgeting & forecasting functions. He is also well versed in tax planning, preparation and representation, mergers and acquisitions, business planning and development, and transaction due diligence.

| Lori L. Devaney, MBA |
| Senior Consulting Manager |

Lori is the co-founder and senior consulting manager of Devaney & Associates. She has over twelve years of management and consulting experience. Lori holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law, both from the University of California, Irvine.
Lori’s experience includes over ten years in the staffing and recruiting industry. She held such positions as the Orange County Regional Operations Manager for Adecco North America, Inc. and Corporate Consulting Manager and Senior Recruiting Manager with such companies as Deloitte & Touche LLP and TAG Consultants to Management, Inc., both in Southern California. She also has a couple of years experience as a Regional Accounting Manager with Aluma Systems USA, Inc., an international construction company.
Lori’s consulting experience includes providing clients with direction in planning, development, and implementation of hiring and staffing strategies. Analyzing and researching current economic conditions, business trends, competitive forces, and potential markets to support new development sales programs. She is also very adept at developing and implementing operational and job costing procedures.
